Combating Dry Scalp in the Winter

The winter tends to bring along a plethora of hair-related problems whether thatâ%u20AC%u2122s extra fizziness, dry, brittle strands, or even a dry scalp. We can thank the cold winter weather and lack of moisture in the hair for this but with a few (easy) remedies, your hair will be back to itâ%u20AC%u2122s normal, heathy, bouncing self in no time at all!

WHAT IS DRY SCALP?

Dry scalp is most prevalent in winter due to the dryness and lack of moisture in the air that causes small white flakes on the scalp. Dry scalp can also be caused by excessive dry heat or diet. Itâ%u20AC%u2122s important to keep in mind that dry scalp and dandruff are different and those who experience dry scalp might also experience itch and tightness of the scalp.
